Stores - small PlayStation plastic sign
These are extremely hard
to obtain since they are property of the store of their origin. When
I was working in the upper echelons of the electronics side of Target Corporation
years ago I was very fortunate to be able to obtain these rare pieces of
video game display art. The larger signs fit into the lighting fixtures
above the video game cases, I was able to pick up the three due to their
spaces being phased out or reduced (in the case of the PlayStation) when
the PS2, GameCube, and XBox launched. The smaller signs fit into
the lighting fixtures above the display kiosk in Target Stores using the
Proto 2001 electronics department layout. For one reason or another
the fixture company sent us a spare GameCube sign (instead of a large Gameboy
Advance sign) so I was able to grab it. Currently I have the large
PlayStation sign mounted to the side of a bookshelf I use to store my old
gaming magazines.
Display Signs
(posters)
Large
holofoil Wario Ware, Inc. Mega Party Games hanging poster
From a number of sources
I get game posters or display artwork that is not necessarily part of a
fixture run. The Wario Ware Mega Party Games poster was from a GameCrazy
store and hung from hanging poster beam that would suspend the poster over
the counter. The whole poster has a shiny reflective coating.
Keychains
Gran
Turismo 3 A-spec promotional keychain
For the US release of Gran
Turismo 3 A-spec many stores were given a supply of GT3 keychains to be
given out either to people who reserved the game or the first people that
purchased the game. The front has the GT3 logo and the back has the
GT3 slogan "The Drive of Your Life." Contrary to what some may say
these were not given out at E3, they were for the US instore release of
the game.

XBox
promotional lanyards and information cards
Just a few items from back
when I was managing in video game retail. The wristwatch was a special
item from my XBox vendor just before the release of Blinx the Time Sweeper
and while it's not very comfortable to wear, it's still a nice collectible
promotional piece. The lanyards and information cards are for pretty
much every game that a card was made for during the first full year after
the XBox launch.
